The Republic of Yemen is situated on the South-Western tip of the Arabian Peninsula, in South-West Asia. It is bordered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the north, the Arabian Sea the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean to the south, the Sultanate of Oman to the East, and the Red Sea to the West.

Islam is the official state religion, of which all Yemenis are adherents, except a small Jewish minority. All Yemenis of different ethnic and religious affiliations enjoy same Constitutional and Legal Rights.
